Next authorization received: 9,7 MWp Agri-PV-plant

GSC Development (GSC) is thrilled to announce having obtained the authorization for an advanced 9.7 MW agrivoltaic plant to be constructed in the municipality of Rio Saliceto (Reggio Emilia).
The plant will be built at one of the sites of the Clementi Group, a leading national player in apple cultivation and sales, where the current apple orchard will be replaced by a rotation of cereals and arable crops.

In particular, together with the Clementi Group's agronomists, the potential of the site in terms of cultivation as well as the sowing and harvesting methods of the selected crops were analysed in order to guarantee the total agricultural continuity of the site and the full integration between agricultural activities and the operation of the photovoltaic plant.
The grid connection of the plant involves the construction of a short section of cable duct on a public road, classifying the operation definitely as "ready to build."

GSC managed all development phases of the process in-house: identification of the most suitable site, grid connection request at e-distribuzione, project design, and authorization were executed by the internal team, completing the operation within 9 months.
The authorization of this plant brings GSC to a total of 13 MW of "RTB" plants in the last 9 months: the group by March 2025 plans to authorize 3 more agrivoltaic plants with an additional capacity of 22 MW.
